What You Need To Change.

I wish I could change everything right now. I didn't mean for it to happen that way.

It all started when he came into my office for a brief meeting on Friday evening.

It was his duty to always report to me at the close of the office hour every day.

This one you are so excited about today Mark did you win a jackpot I asked with curiosity.

His smile was so beautiful. I knew it wasn't anything close to the normal good news. There has to be more.

I pushed a little more and he spilled. He spent the next five minutes sharing his new business ideas and strategies with me. It is one of a kind.

He was about to leave but I called him back. Unknown to him, I had grabbed the black knife I used to slice my orange.

I stabbed him twice on his chest.

I killed Mark.

I was supposed to be his elder sister but I killed him.

I wish I could change everything but it was too late.

Wait.

I told you I killed him with a knife but I lied.

My mouth did the killing.

I condemned his ideas and strategies with my mouth. I told him it was a useless idea and that he will fail if he ever quits his job to chase that thing he called a dream.

A few years later, the company folded. Mark didn't chase his dream. But someone else conceived that same idea, established it, and is currently doing great.

Mark has been a shadow of himself ever since.

Hey, never condemn anyone's idea even if you know it won't work. You can't even be sure because you are not God.

You don't need a knife to kill a person. You kill them emotionally with your words.

Even if you want to play, mind what you say and how you say it. You never can tell the person might take it seriously.

And just like you can't raise the dead, you can't take back the words you say to people.

If you can't encourage or support them in their current situations, please just pray for them. You don't always have to say something.

Words are powerful!
